D.B. Mays delivers explicit instruction, fosters purposeful group discussions, and engages learners in independent and collaborative activities that promote and support their development of literacy and critical thinking skills that will help to succeed in school and in life.

The Teacher-Author-in-Residence Book Club Program offers learners ongoing opportunities to engage in virtual Socratic Seminars, discussing, defending, and challenging their own perspectives and the perspectives of their peers about the selected text. Writing prompts are optional for this program. Prices for packages vary and are based on the nature and number of workshops, number of participants, mode of delivery, and location. As these are ongoing, customizable instructional programs, the standard fees listed below do not apply. Contact her  for inquiries and scheduling.
